Shared on the official Elden Ring X (formerly Twitter) account, the image depicts a gold-faced, long-haired figure wielding bladed disc-like weapons. While the post didn’t delve into the creature’s backstory or role in the Elden Ring world, it left players speculating about its significance.
“Fearsome foes of unfathomable power await you in the Realm of Shadow,” the post ominously declares.
Players are theorizing that this hunched, golden-dress-clad enemy could potentially be one of Shadow of the Erdtree’s new bosses. Some speculate a connection to Godwyn the Golden due to a shared scar on their back, as well as the presence of the same twisted Omen horns seen on Godwyn’s brothers, Mohg and Morgott.
While it’s challenging to decipher the creature’s role in Elden Ring lore without experiencing Shadow of the Erdtree firsthand, theories abound. Notably, some fans have pointed out the uncanny resemblance of the shared image to a uterus, adding an intriguing layer to the speculation.
